It is widely recognized that securing a tour victory is no easy task. Winning a title without conceding a set is even tougher. However, despite these challenges, nine women in the 2025 season succeeded in capturing tour championships without dropping a set. Who exactly are these players, and at which events did they achieve this? Let this article guide you through their stories.

At the end of February, Navarro, an American player who once reached a Grand Slam semifinal, entered the WTA 500 Merida tournament as the top seed and received a first-round bye; in the second round, she defeated Croatian qualifier Martic decisively to advance; in the quarterfinals, Navarro swept past Turkish wildcard Senmez, reaching her first tour semifinal of the 2025 season.

In the semifinals, she allowed Armenian player Avanesyan to win only six games throughout the match, securing her spot in the final; in the championship match, facing Colombian Arango, who was making her first WTA 500 final appearance, Navarro dominated with two 6–0 sets to claim her first tour title of 2025 and became the season’s first player to win a tour event without dropping a set.

World No.1 Sabalenka from Belarus appeared as the top seed at the WTA 1000 Miami Open in mid-March. As a seeded player, she also received a first-round bye; subsequently, Sabalenka defeated Bulgaria’s Tomova, Romania’s Ruse, America’s Collins, China’s Zheng Qinwen, and Italy’s Paolini, reaching her second WTA 1000 final of the 2025 season; in the final, she won in straight sets against American Pegula, becoming the first player in 2025 to win a WTA 1000 title without dropping a set.

Svitolina, a former year-end champion from Ukraine, also appeared as the top seed at the WTA 250 event in Luce. In the first round, she comfortably defeated Turkey’s Tehman to advance; in the second round, Svitolina shut out compatriot Kalinina to reach the quarterfinals. In the subsequent rounds, she triumphed over Spain’s Borrás, Romania’s Ruse, and Serbia’s Danilović to claim her first tour title of the 2025 season.

In late May, Australian player Joints competed at the WTA 250 Rabat Open. In the first round, she won in straight sets against Croatian Konjuh; in the second round, Joints delivered a bagel set to defeat ninth seed American Varenets and advanced to the quarterfinals; there, she defeated fourth seed American Rybakina decisively, reaching her second tour semifinal of the 2025 season; in the semifinals, after taking the first set, her compatriot Tomjanovic retired; in the final, she comfortably beat Romanian Cristian to win her first career tour title.

Later in the 2025 season, Polish player Swiatek at the WTA 1000 Cincinnati event in early August, Romanian player Costea at the WTA 250 Cleveland event in mid-August, Gauff at the WTA 1000 Wuhan event in early October, Rybakina at the WTA 250 Guangzhou event in mid-October, and Blinkova at the WTA 250 Jiujiang event in late October, all won their tour titles without dropping a set.
