The 2025 Australian Open wheelchair women's doubles final was staged on Court 1573, and after 1 hour and 16 minutes of competition, the Chinese pair Li Xiaohui/Wang Ziying defeated Zhu Zhenzhen/Aimi Tanaka 6-2, 6-3 to win the first Grand Slam title in the history of the Chinese wheelchair tennis team.

Chinese wheelchair tennis player Zhu Zhenzhen won the women's doubles runner-up at the 2023 Australian Open and the women's singles runner-up at the 2024 French Open, which was the best record of a Chinese wheelchair tennis team at a Grand Slam.
