In the first semifinal held this morning Beijing time, Menchik battled Malosan in three sets, eventually winning 7-6, 4-6, 6-1 to advance to the final.

WTA500 Adelaide: In the singles quarterfinals, 8th seed and Canadian rising star Mboko defeated 2nd seed Keys 6-4, 4-6, 6-2, marking her second career victory over a top 10 player and ending Keys' title defense. She then cruised past local wildcard Biller 6-2, 6-1 in the semifinals to reach her first final of the year and third career tour final, which is also her first at the 500 level.

Next, Mboko will await the winner between Mira Andreeva and Schneider, the Russian sisters who each won their quarterfinal matches against Australian Jont and American Navarro to meet in the semifinals.

In doubles: In the semifinals, second seeds Zhang Shuai/Siniakova defeated fourth seeds Danilina/Krunic 6-4, 2-6, 10-8 to advance to the final. Around 5:30 PM Beijing time today, they will compete against L. Kichenok/Kravchuk for the championship.

Finally, a guess and recognition challenge. The photo below shows a player on the Roland Garros court. She retired years ago. Can you identify who she is?

No fans gave the correct answer last time. Actually, the person in the picture is Potapova, who switched nationality to Austria.
