Inventory of the single-season win rate ranking since the new century: Sinner only 6 losses still need to look up to two mountains!

Tennis tournaments around the world are in full swing, but men's singles world No. 1 Sinner has not been competing recently. He chose to recuperate due to minor injuries and back-to-back fights during the Australian Open, for which he also missed the title defense in Rotterdam.

However, he had an impressive season last year, starting with a real rise in the year when he helped Italy win the Davis Cup and won the Australian Open.

So how does his win percentage rank in history? Let's take a look at the best single season of a player in the 21st century (at least 40 wins):

Man:

1. Federer 2005 81-4 (95.29%)

2. Federer 2006 92-5 (94.85%)

3. Djokovic 2015 82-6 (93.18%)

4. Federer 2004 75-6 (92.59%)

5. Sinner 2024 73-6 (92.41%)

In this top five list, Federer alone won three places. Since his debut at Wimbledon in 2003, the Swiss has embarked on a dynasty of his own rule. Of the six matches he lost in 2004, including the French Open, the other three Grand Slam titles were all in the bag, but the French Open was eliminated early. Another important match was the first Feina duel, where Federer lost to Nadal at the Miami Masters.

For three consecutive years, Federer has controlled his negative number of matches within six matches, but Federer's major results in 05 are too flawed, the Australian Open and the French Open have not reached the finals, the Australian Open centennial semifinals were won by Safin, the French Open was eliminated by Nadal in the semifinals, and the year-end final was also lost to Nalbandian.

In particular, in 2006, he played 97 matches and was a model worker, losing four of his five matches thanks to Nadal, including a three-match final run from Monka, Roma and the French Open. Comparatively, Djokovic's 88 games are also fairly close, while Sinner played just 79 games last year.

Djokovic's 2015 and 2011/2023 seasons were both three Grand Slam titles and one runner-up, but he was more prominent in other tournaments and rarely lost titles, but his impressive record was only third in the winning percentage rankings. The most impressive defeat of the year came at the French Open, where he was one step away from achieving a Grand Slam, knocking out Rafael Nadal in the final, but he was unable to resist the madness of Wawrinka and finally missed out on the Musketeers Cup again.

Half of Sinner's six defeats last season came to old rival Acre, including the Indian Wells Masters and French Open semi-finals and the China Open final, while the other losses included a loss to Mei in the quarter-finals at Wimbledon and a defeat to Tsitsipas at the Monte Carlo Masters.
