Who will claim victory and advance to the final? I personally believe it will be Wang Manyu. She is ranked second globally, the reigning Asian Cup champion, and champion of the 15th National Games. Her opponent, Mima Ito, is a strong contender in the women’s singles but still not quite at Wang Manyu’s level. Historically, Wang Manyu leads their head-to-head 9-0. However, Mima recently achieved four consecutive titles domestically in Japan. My prediction is Wang Manyu will win 4-1 or 4-2 to reach the final and face Sun Yingsha for the championship!
