The draw for the 2026 Davis Cup World Group has been announced, with China set to face Norway in September.


In the 2026 Davis Cup World Group play-offs on February 6-7, China secured a 3-1 win over Portugal, powered by Wu Yibing’s singles triumph and Zhang Zhizhen’s double victories in singles and doubles. This is China’s debut entry into the World Group after the Davis Cup restructuring. According to the latest draw, China will play away against Norway, led by three-time Grand Slam finalist Ruud. A win will qualify China for the 2027 World Group Qualifiers. This year’s World Group matches will take place from September 18 to 20, right before China’s ATP season opener in Hangzhou/Chengdu.
