On February 20, 2026, the ATP 500 Doha men's singles semifinals concluded. Top seed Alcaraz beat defending champion and fifth seed Rublev 7-6(3), 6-4; French talent Fils defeated sixth seed Menšík 6-4, 7-6(4).

Alcaraz
In their sixth meeting, Alcaraz ended Rublev’s attempt to defend his title. The match featured multiple breaks of serve from both players. In the first set, Alcaraz failed to convert two match points on his serve, but eventually took the tiebreak 7-6(3). In the second set, despite Rublev narrowing the gap from 1-3 to 3-4, the players exchanged breaks again, with Alcaraz finally sealing the match 6-4.
This marks the 34th time in his career that Alcaraz has reached an ATP Tour singles final. After completing the career Grand Slam at this year's Australian Open, he now aims for his 26th title, riding an 11-match winning streak.

Fils
Alcaraz’s opponent in the final will be Frenchman Fils, who missed three Grand Slam events last year due to injury after the French Open. Since his full return in February, he reached the quarterfinals in Montpellier. This week, Fils has been in strong form, eliminating Mehjzak, Aris, and Lehcka to reach the semifinals. Facing Czech rising star Menšík, who had upset Sinner in the previous round, Fils delivered another impressive performance.
In the first set, Fils secured a break in the third game and won the set 6-4 in just 35 minutes. In the second set, after exchanging breaks, he established a 5-1 lead in the tiebreak and closed it out 7-6(4). This is Fils’ third time reaching an ATP 500 final, maintaining an undefeated record at this level (2-0) before this match.
The ATP 500 Doha doubles final was held earlier, where third seeds Heliövaara and Pütz defeated top seeds Cash and Graspur 6-3, 6-3 in 69 minutes to claim the title. The men’s singles final between Alcaraz and Fils will take place tomorrow at 2:00 AM Beijing time.
