ATP Acapulco: Zverev Leads the Field, Wu Yibing and Wong Chak Lam Aim for Main Draw

The main draw for the 2026 ATP 500 Acapulco tournament was recently released, with two former champions, Zverev and Deminal, seeded first and second to anchor the top and bottom halves respectively. Ruud and Davidovich Fokina are seeded third and fourth. Defending champion Makhach is absent from the draw.

Tomorrow morning Beijing time, Chinese player Wu Yibing and Hong Kong’s Wong Chak Lam will compete in the final qualifying round, aiming to secure spots in the main draw. Their opponents are Rin Hirakawa and Gibson, respectively.

The ATP 500 Acapulco tournament has a long history, first hosting men's events in 1993 and running as a combined men's and women's event from 2001 to 2020. Chinese player Wang Yafan won her maiden career title here in 2019. This year’s tournament will take place from February 23 to 28, offering total prize money of $2,469,450. The singles champion will earn 500 ranking points and $461,835 in prize money.
