On March 3, Beijing time, the main draw for the 2026 WTA/ATP Indian Wells tournament was released. As the first combined ATP Masters 1000 and WTA 1000 event of the year, the top ten players from both tours have gathered at 'Tennis Paradise', where Andreeva and Draper will begin their title defenses.

Indian Wells Stadium Court
In the men's singles draw, the 'post-00s' duo Alcaraz and Sinner headline the field. Defending champion Draper, seeded 14th, starts his title defense in the top half, where his projected seeded opponents are No. 19 seed F. Cerundolo and No. 3 seed Novak Djokovic. Among Chinese players, with Shang Juncheng withdrawing, no one from China is competing in the men's singles.

Carlos Alcaraz
Alcaraz's second-round opponent will be either Atmane or Dimitrov. He is projected to face No. 26 seed Lindknicht in the third round. Returning to California on a 12-match winning streak this season, the two-time former champion aims to reclaim the title this year.

Jannik Sinner
Sinner's first possible seeded opponent is No. 29 seed Etcheverry. Additionally, Tsitsipas and Shapovalov are set to clash in the first round in this section. Sinner reached the semifinals here consecutively in 2023 and 2024 but missed last year's edition due to his suspension period. This remains the only ATP Masters 1000 hardcourt title he has yet to win.

Novak Djokovic
Five-time champion Novak Djokovic, seeded third, embarks on his 17th Indian Wells campaign. He will face the winner between Majchrzak and Perricard in the second round, with a potential third-round clash against No. 31 seed Moutet. Djokovic suffered a surprise second-round exit to van de Zandschulp last year, giving him significant points to gain this time.
