Cobolli Reaches Career High, Enters Top 15 for First Time
After winning his first hard-court tour title and third ATP tour title at the Acapulco tournament, Italian player Flavio Cobolli saw his world ranking climb five spots to No.15, setting a new career high. The Italian player dropped only one set on his way to the title, becoming the fourth player born in the 2000s, after Alcaraz, Sinner, and Fils, to win an ATP 500 event on multiple surfaces.

Tiafoe Moves Closer to Returning to Top 20
American player Frances Tiafoe moved closer to the Top 20 after reaching the final in Acapulco. This was his first tour-level final since Houston in April last year. His world ranking rose six places to No.22.
Kecmanović's Ranking Rebounds
Serbian player Miomir Kecmanović also impressed at this ATP500 event. The 26-year-old caused an upset in the second round in Acapulco by defeating top seed Alexander Zverev, advancing to his first semifinal of the year. His world ranking jumped 26 spots to No.58.
Hanfmann Sees Ranking Rise
Hanfmann reached his first ATP tour final in six years at last week's Santiago tournament. The German player pulled off a semifinal upset against top seed Francisco Cerúndolo but lost to Darderi in the final. His world ranking rose 16 places to No.65.

Zhang Shuai
Zhang Shuai's Ranking Continues to Recover
The 37-year-old Zhang Shuai maintained her recovery momentum. She fought through qualifying to reach the semifinals at the Mérida tournament, including a second-round victory over defending champion Navarro. This marked her third win over a Top 20 player since 2022 and her first WTA500 semifinal since the 2022 Tokyo event. Zhang's world ranking rose 24 spots to No.62 this week.

Bucșa
Bucșa Reaches Career-High Ranking with Maiden Title
Spanish player Cristina Bucșa won the Mérida tournament, claiming her first WTA singles title. The 28-year-old Spaniard became one of the biggest climbers in the WTA Top 100 this week, rising from No.63 to a career-high No.31. Her title run included her first career win over a Top 10 player, defeating Paolini in the semifinals.
Frech Returns to Top 50
Mérida finalist Magdalena Frech also achieved a significant ranking jump. This was her first final since winning the Guadalajara tournament in 2024 and the third final of her career. The Polish player, whose career-high ranking is No.22, moved from No.57 to No.36, returning to the Top 50 for the first time since last September.
Kasatkina Becomes Andorra's First Top 100 Player
The 20-year-old Kasatkina's breakthrough last week created a milestone for her country. She reached the quarterfinals of the Mérida tournament as a qualifier. The former junior world No.1 and 2020 Australian Open girls' champion soared 25 places from No.122 to No.97, entering the Top 100 for the first time and becoming the first tennis player (male or female) from Andorra to achieve this feat.
Stearns Returns to Top 50
The Austin tournament women's singles final featured another all-American showdown, with local favorite Peyton Stearns ultimately claiming the title. This was her second career title after Rabat in 2024. Stearns' world ranking rose 14 spots from No.62 to No.48, returning her to the Top 50. Her career-high ranking is No.28.
