Rome Masters draw announced, comeback Sinner leads the stars to the "Eternal City"

The pace of world tennis is so fast. The Madrid Masters just ended in the early hours of yesterday morning, Beijing time, and the draw for the Rome Masters was released in less than 24 hours. Let's take a look at the men's singles draw for the most important warm-up tournament before the French Open.

World No. 1 Sinner, who has been banned for three months, will make his comeback as the top seed in his home event. The big-seeded player opposite him in the division is none other than Ruud, who has just become a new grandmaster in Madrid.

Other seeded players in the zone are Shelton, Koda, Berrettini, Tiafoe, Cerendro and Fokina. Sinner's first opponent is expected to be Lavone, with the Argentine having some fighting power and it will be interesting to see how the Italian star will be in form after the ban is lifted. There are two high-profile matches in the first round of the zone, with Bublik taking on former Wimbledon quarter-finalist Savrin, and France's left-hander Gaston taking on former Chilean No. 1 Jarry.

The quarter-finals are led by Fritz, with other seeds including De Minaur, Paul, Aliassime and Hurkacz, as well as Czech twin stars Mensik and Mahachi. There are four first-round matches to look forward to: the Italian derby between Nardi and Copoli, the American derby between Taylor Qian and Opelka, Agut vs. Annaldi, and Brazilian teenager Fonseca, who has always performed well on clay and eliminated Acre at the Rome Masters.

The quarter-finals are led by Alcaraz and Draper, with other seeds including Khachanov, Dimitrov, Ember, Michelson, Rune and Baez. China's Buyunchaoket is also in this zone, and he will face Italian Dardry in the first round. In addition, the four clay masters of Echeverry, Struf, Sonego and Djere are all capable of disrupting the game.

The final zone is led by defending champion Zverev. Zverev, who has been in the hunt for months to catch up with Sinner and become the crown of the ball, has only been able to perform well in Munich so far on clay, and will face huge points at the Rome Masters and French Open.

The seeded players in the zone are also Musetti, Medvedev, Fes, Tsitsipas, Shapovalov, Poplin and Brandon Nakashima. Notable first-round matchups include Kecmanovic vs. Gricospor and Thompson vs. Perricard.

Due to Deyo's retirement, the only two most successful players in the post-95 Masters are Mei and Zverev. Will there be a new champion? How is Sinner doing since his comeback? How is Acre recovering from his injury? Mysteries are waiting for us to go to the "Eternal City" to uncover!(Source: Tennis Home Author: Luo Cheng Qiye)
