Due to an overwhelming number of participants last week, the qualification rounds of the Liu'an Hope Tournament had to be conducted in three stages. After intense battles, five Chinese players—Xiao Zhenghua, Zhao Xichen, Ma Ruoxi, Liu Zhirui, and Li Yuying—emerged from the qualifiers to advance to the main draw.

In the first round of the main draw, Zhang Ying, who recently won the first Hope Tournament title of the 2025 season, faced Zhang Junhan. After a hard-fought three-set match, Zhang Ying once again defeated Zhang Junhan, advancing with difficulty. In this round, all five Chinese players who made it through the qualifiers were unfortunately

However, the victories of young players Qu Yihan and Shao Yushan were still commendable; Yuan Chengyiyi, Han Jiangxue, Tang Qianhui, Chen Mengyi, Huang Yujia, Zhang Ziye, Guo Meiqi, and Wang Jiayi also advanced without issue. The only player to fall behind was Wang Jiayi, who, after winning the first set, was reversed by the tournament's third seed, Japanese player Sato Nanaho, losing in a close match.

In the semifinals, Guo Meiqi triumphed over Sato Nanaho, reaching her fourth final of the year; meanwhile, Chen Mengyi, after winning the first set, received a walkover from Zhang Ying at a tied score in the second set, marking her first entry into the Hope Tournament final this year. In the women's doubles, the pairing of Huang Yujia and Zhang Ying won decisively in the first round against the duo of Zhang Junhan and Wang Yuping, advancing smoothly. In the second round, they delivered another strong performance, easily defeating the wildcard pair of Gao Ruirui and Zeng Zichai, moving into the semifinals.

In the semifinals, Huang Yujia and Zhang Ying faced a tough three-set battle, narrowly overcoming the previous Hope Tournament women's doubles champions Wang Jiaqing and Yuan Chengyiyi to reach the final; in the final, they convincingly defeated the duo of Sun Yifan and Zhao Xichen, claiming the women's doubles championship. In the women's singles final, Guo Meiqi delivered a bagel in the first set and allowed Chen Mengyi only two games in the second set.
