The Đức Giang Lào Cai Chemical Club, with middle blocker Trần Thị Bích Thủy, officially secured their place in the 2025 National Volleyball Championship after a 3-0 win against Ho Chi Minh City.

During the 5th-8th place ranking round, the highland team demonstrated superior form, easily claiming all 3 points to raise their total to 4 wins and 11 points.

This outcome allowed Đức Giang Lào Cai Chemical to complete their relegation survival objective early, making the last two matches against Hưng Yên and Thanh Hoá merely contests for rankings between 5th and 7th place.

Bích Thủy plays a crucial role in Đức Giang Chemical’s successful relegation battle.

In this game, middle blocker Trần Thị Bích Thủy remained a standout figure in Đức Giang Chemical’s lineup. After finishing the competition phase in Ninh Bình, she will depart for Japan to join the Okayama Seagulls, a team competing in the Japanese Women's Volleyball Championship (starting October 10).

Bích Thủy is currently considered one of the leading middle blockers in Vietnamese women's volleyball. She made a strong impact at the 2025 World Championship in Thailand, receiving praise from international coaches. Earlier this year, she tried out in South Korea but did not sign an official contract. Nevertheless, her consistent form and professional mindset attracted the attention of the Okayama Seagulls.

According to initial reports, Bích Thủy’s contract with the Japanese club will last for one season, with an option to extend based on her performance. Therefore, following Trần Thị Thanh Thúy, Vietnamese volleyball will gain another player competing in Japan—a positive sign for the integration and growth of the nation’s women's volleyball.
