Set 1: BCTT 25-23 VietinBank
The first set was extremely exciting and intense, featuring fierce exchanges between the offenses of both teams. VietinBank shone with Vi Thi Nhu Quynh, while Information - Dong Bac had a slight edge with Kieu Trinh and Voronkova.
The difference between the two teams likely lay in the first step and especially the second pass, where Lam Oanh showed more experience and class compared to Minh Thu on the opposite side. The first set ended with a narrow 25-23 victory for the soldiers’ team.
Set 2: BCTT 25-17 VietinBank
The second set saw Information - Dong Bac dominate. Foreign player Voronkova proved her value with strong spikes and impressive serving, while young talent Pham Quynh Huong also made a mark.
VietinBank performed poorly and at one point trailed by 13 points. Hong Tham’s efforts helped the Industrial and Commercial Bank save several set points, but the gap remained too large.
Set 3: BCTT 25-14 VietinBank
Down 0-2, the VietinBank girls still failed to show the necessary effort to compete for the bronze at this year’s National Championship. Information - Dong Bac remained dominant, comfortably scoring points and capitalizing on many opponent errors to widen the gap.
The easy victory allowed Voronkova and her teammates to finish the season in third place.
Final result, Information - Dong Bac defeated VietinBank 3-0 (25-23; 25-17; 25-14).
