Despite holding the home advantage, LPBank Ninh Bình was defeated 1-3 in the 3rd place match of the 2025 National Volleyball Championship by a more balanced and higher-quality Ho Chi Minh City Police team.

The 3rd place match in the men's volleyball category of the 2025 National Volleyball Championship between Ho Chi Minh City Police and LPBank Ninh Bình was exciting and intense.
The first set saw the police volleyball team dominate while the home team Ninh Bình committed many regrettable errors. Consequently, coach Dương Tấn Vinh’s players won the set 25-19.
The second set followed a similar pattern to the first. Holding the lead, Ho Chi Minh City Police continued to play confidently and enthusiastically. The trio Quản Trọng Nghĩa - Quốc Dư - Quốc Duy performed effectively, helping Ho Chi Minh City Police secure another set win over Ninh Bình with a score of 25-20.
Cornered in the third set, the volleyball team from the ancient capital played with over 100% effort and determination, continuously exchanging points with Ho Chi Minh City Police, resulting in an extremely balanced set.
Both teams fought for every point, and in the crucial final moments, Ninh Bình’s relentless efforts were rewarded with an important 26-24 win, pushing the 3rd place match into a fourth set.
Regrettably, that was all LPBank Ninh Bình could achieve. In the fourth set, with a more balanced and superior squad, Ho Chi Minh City Police quickly gained the lead and closed the set with a commanding 25-17 victory, securing a 3-1 overall win and the 3rd place at the 2025 National Volleyball Championship. LPBank Ninh Bình finished 4th.
