True to fans’ expectations, the women’s final of the 2025 National Volleyball Championship was genuinely thrilling and competitive.

In Set 1, the home team LPBank Ninh Binh performed more efficiently than their opponents. They excelled in all aspects from highly challenging serves, smooth first steps to fierce blocking and diverse attacks. Notably, Bulgarian foreign player Paskova played excellently, handling the ball with variety, helping coach Thai Thanh Tung’s team win 25-16.

Set 2 saw a shift in momentum. Ninh Binh still played well and stayed focused, but VTV Binh Dien Long An was even stronger as American outside hitter Roni Jones-Perry, middle blocker Nhu Anh, and Kim Thanh continuously shined, helping the defending champions win convincingly 25-17 to level the score at 1-1 and bring the match back to even ground.

Set 3 was extremely tense as both teams battled point by point and maintained a balanced game, exchanging blows for most of the set. However, towards the end, the home team LPBank Ninh Binh played more effectively. Middle blocker Le Thanh Thuy made two decisive blocks scoring points, helping Ninh Binh win 25-21 and take a 2-1 lead.

Set 4 was even more intense and dramatic than Set 3. Both teams kept a balanced game for most of the time, exchanging points. At one point, VTV Binh Dien Long An led by 3 points but then allowed Ninh Binh to catch up, and later Ninh Binh took the lead and even had 3 set points.

However, just when facing imminent defeat, VTV Binh Dien Long An showed remarkable courage as Kim Thanh and then Lan Vy alternately scored crucial points, helping the Western team equalize before pulling ahead to win 28-26, leveling the match 2-2 and pushing the final into Set 5.

The decisive set was as tense as a tightrope walk with both teams continuing to fight for every point. Paskova kept showing her class by repeatedly earning important points for Ninh Binh, but Lan Vy and Nhu Anh also shone at the right moments, helping VTV Binh Dien Long An maintain balance and then gradually pull ahead near the end to secure a thrilling 15-12 win, thus winning 3-2 overall and successfully defending their National Championship title.

This is the 6th National Championship title for VTV Binh Dien Long An and with this victory, legend Ngoc Hoa has made history. She became the first female volleyball star in Vietnam to win the National Championship both as a player and as a head coach.
