After just two opening matches of the SV League 2025/2026, outside hitter Trần Thị Thanh Thúy quickly proved her value at Gunma Green Wings and received extensive praise.
With a total of 37 points scored, "4T" not only helped her team secure a crucial victory but also earned warm praise from Volleyball World Asia – a respected Asian volleyball site.
The SV League season – Japan’s premier women’s volleyball championship – officially started on October 10, 2025, and will continue until April 5, 2026, featuring 14 top clubs. This is Thanh Thúy’s fifth professional year in Japan, following memorable campaigns with Denso Airybees and PFU BlueCats. Returning as the Asian foreign player for Gunma Green Wings – a team newly promoted to Division 1 last season – Thanh Thúy carries high hopes from the club’s leadership. They have heavily invested in signing her alongside two other quality foreign players: outside hitter Olivia Rozanski (Poland) and middle blocker Nasya Dimitrova (Bulgaria), aiming to build a versatile and sharp offensive lineup.
