Setter Võ Thị Kim Thoa continued to assert her dominance by winning the "Best Setter" title for the fourth consecutive time at the 2025 National Volleyball Championship. This achievement made her the athlete with the most individual awards in the tournament’s history.
In the final match on the evening of October 16, Kim Thoa played a vital role in helping VTV Bình Điền Long An come from behind to defeat LPB Ninh Bình 3-2, successfully defending their national championship. As a key pillar of the Western team’s gameplay, Kim Thoa consistently showed steady form, versatile ball distribution, and persistent competitive spirit.
Võ Thị Kim Thoa is a high-caliber athlete of VTV Bình Điền Long An.
Born in 1998 and developed through the Long An training system, Kim Thoa quickly established her strength both at club and national team levels. In 2024, she helped the Vietnamese women’s team qualify for the 2025 Women’s Volleyball World Championship — a landmark achievement for Vietnamese volleyball.
Also in 2024, she played a key role in winning the Hung Vuong Cup and the National Championship, as well as securing a spot in the Asian tournament. Individually, Kim Thoa earned the "Best Setter" award three times at the Hoa Lu Cup, Hung Vuong Cup, and the 2024 National Championship.
In 2025, Kim Thoa contributed to the victory in stage 2 of the SEA V.League 2025 for Vietnamese women’s volleyball. Additionally, she helped the national team complete a hat-trick of championships at the AVC Nations Cup.
Looking ahead, Kim Thoa is expected to continue featuring in the Vietnam national team led by coach Nguyễn Tuấn Kiệt at the 2025 SEA Games, where the Vietnamese women’s volleyball team is determined to win the gold medal.
