Born in 1999 in Long An, Kim Thanh was trained and raised in the Long An youth volleyball system. At 14, she was called up to Vietnam's youth national team.

Kim Thanh stands 1.78m tall, with a balanced figure, slender legs, fair skin, and an attractive face, which draws attention and makes her stand out in matches. She always shows a happy, smiling expression on the court, increasing her appeal to media and fans.

Beyond her physique and beauty, this 1999-born outside hitter impresses with her skills, capable of playing well as both opposite and outside hitter.

At the 2018 VTV Cup women's volleyball tournament, Kim Thanh was honored with the Miss Volleyball title. She also ranked among the top 7 candidates for Miss Volleyball at the 2023 national championship.

On the court she is strong and passionate, but off the court, Kim Thanh is described as a sweet girl. She exudes grace in everyday moments when not competing.

Especially, the volleyball beauty from Long An knows how to beautify herself with makeup and fashionable clothing, which enhances her natural charm and helps her shine everywhere. At the 2023 national championship, despite being only 24, Kim Thanh was truly the spiritual leader of VTV Bình Điền Long An, playing a key role in guiding the younger teammates (11 born after 2000) to a successful season, finishing third.

She also ranked in the top 5 candidates for Miss Volleyball at the 2023 national championship, confirming her charming beauty as Long An's female volleyball outside hitter.

After the 2023 national championship, Kim Thanh announced her retirement to focus on her studies. In August 2023, she opened a café in Tân An city (Long An). Besides being a café owner, this talented former outside hitter also runs a cosmetics business.

However, about a year later, her passion for volleyball reignited strongly, prompting Kim Thanh to return to competition. After playing brilliantly to help Ho Chi Minh City women's volleyball team get promoted, she returned to VTV Bình Điền Long An for the second phase of the 2024 national championship and won the title.

Now with another trophy, Kim Thanh's impact is even greater. She is considered one of the most consistent and outstanding players of VTV Bình Điền Long An at the 2025 national championship. Especially, Kim Thanh excelled in the final against LPBank Ninh Bình and was one of the heroes who helped the Western women's volleyball team win their sixth national title.
