After the group matches ended, the final stage of the 2025 National A-level Volleyball Championship officially kicked off at Ha Tinh Provincial Gymnasium from October 23 to November 1, assembling many famous faces alongside rookies promising to bring the liveliest and highest-quality season in many years.
The most outstanding feature of this year's competition is the appearance of a series of stars who have worn the national team jersey. In the men's category, Nguyen Van Quoc Duy, a renowned hitter with many years representing Vietnam, now plays for Vinh Long, carrying experience and a spirit to conquer the peak. Meanwhile, Vi Thi Nhu Quynh, the only national player currently on the Quang Ninh women's team, is also a big hope to help the mining region's team advance far and fight for promotion.
Besides these two prominent figures, experts also highlight many seasoned hitters such as Vu Quang Khoi, Tran Duc Hanh, Duong Ngoc Danh (Ha Tinh); Quan Trong Nghia (Mobile Police Command); Tu Thanh Thuan, Duong Van Tien (Binh Duong Construction Materials); Ha Manh Hung (Military Region 3); Nguyen Van Ha (Bac Ninh)...
In the women's category, spectators will witness the comeback of Le Thuy Linh, Vi Thi Yen Nhi, Bui Thi Anh Thao (Hanoi); Le Ngoc Tram, Nguyen Ly Thuy Vi (Quang Ninh), all of whom were standout players in previous national championship seasons.
It can be said that never before has the A-level tournament gathered such a diverse and high-quality group of players. Their presence has transformed the competition, once considered a "launchpad" for youth teams, into a fierce and thrilling promotion race comparable to professional leagues.
A notable new development: this year, for the first time, six foreign players are participating in the final round. The Hanoi, Quang Ninh, Bac Ninh (women’s teams), and Ha Tinh (men’s team) have all strengthened their squads with foreign players to boost competitiveness and aim for a spot in the 2026 National Championship. Hiring foreign players not only improves the technical quality but also offers domestic young athletes opportunities to gain international playing experience and learn different styles.

The presence of foreign players also makes the promotion race more exciting than ever. Each team now must compete not only with tactics and spirit but also with resilience and adaptability to the fast-paced, powerful playing style brought by these "newcomers" from abroad.
Ha Tinh is not just the host but also one of the strong contenders for the promotion spot. With a youthful and deep roster led by experienced coaches, the Ha Tinh men's volleyball team is highly determined to succeed on their home court.
Ha Tinh Provincial Gymnasium, a modern facility with nearly 3,000 seats, is regarded as a "meeting place" for volleyball fans nationwide during the last days of October. The local organizing committee has also carefully prepared logistics, promotion, and media coverage, contributing to the stronger spread of Vietnamese volleyball's image.
The A-level tournament is always seen as the "gateway" to elite volleyball. For many teams, it is a chance to return after relegation, while newcomers see it as an opportunity to showcase their skills and prove their mettle. Moreover, the gathering of many stars and foreign players increases performance pressure, forcing teams to maintain high form throughout the competition.
With a talented roster, professional organization, and fan support, the 2025 National A-level Volleyball Championship final round is expected to achieve a breakthrough in quality, laying the foundation to elevate the tournament in the future.
If the teams seize the opportunities well, not only will the title and promotion spots be decided, but faith in the sustainable development of Vietnamese volleyball will also be strengthened, starting from the fierce battles on the Ha Tinh court.
