The Hanoi Tasco Auto women's volleyball club earned their place in the quarterfinals of the 2025 National A-Class Championship after an important win against IMP Bac Ninh on October 28.
Hanoi Tasco Auto staged a thrilling comeback to defeat IMP Bac Ninh 3-2 in the group stage of the 2025 National A-Class Volleyball Finals, advancing directly to the quarterfinals as the leader of Group C.
The match between the two teams was intense, with both Hanoi and Bac Ninh undefeated in their first two matches. Although they lost the first set 21-25, coach Nguyen Huu Binh’s players quickly regained their form to win the second set 25-18.
However, the third set saw a decline in the capital team’s performance as they made numerous blocking errors and suffered a heavy 13-25 defeat.
In the fourth set, Hanoi Tasco Auto’s fighting spirit was reignited. The outstanding performance of foreign player Adora Anae helped the team take the lead and win 25-21, pushing the match into the deciding set.
During the fifth set, Hanoi played more solidly and efficiently, especially in defense and counterattack, securing a 15-10 victory to finalize the overall score at 3-2.
Immediately following the win, the entire team was awarded a “hot” bonus from the club’s management and sponsor Tasco Auto. Specifically, the team collectively received 100 million VND, while foreign player Adora Anae was given an additional 1,000 USD for her outstanding performance.
Setter Vi Thi Yen Nhi couldn’t hide her joy, celebrating repeatedly with her teammates as the team extended their winning streak to three matches.
The victory over IMP Bac Ninh allowed Hanoi Tasco Auto to finish the group stage at the top of Group C. In the quarterfinals, the capital’s team will face Phu Tho at 6:00 PM on October 29.
