The former Thai coach of Thanh Thúy sincerely spoke about the three rising stars who just won the Vietnamese volleyball championship.
Thai coach Kittipong Pornchartyingcheep praised the young athletes of Hanoi Tasco Auto club, highlighting three hitters: Ánh Thảo, Lê Thùy Linh, and Yến Nhi.
Hanoi Tasco Auto secured the 2025 National A Volleyball Championship title by beating Quảng Ninh 3-0 (25-23, 25-16, 25-22) in the final. Despite a slow start, the capital team grew more united as the game went on, especially with an effective block that completely shut down Quảng Ninh’s foreign player Sangacomo.
On offense, attackers Ánh Thảo, Lê Thùy Linh, and foreign player Adora Anae stood out with many crucial points. Young setter Vi Thị Yến Nhi also impressed by smartly directing the ball, making the team’s play more flexible and efficient.
This victory enabled Hanoi Tasco Auto not only to win the A-level championship but also to officially promote and return to the 2026 National Volleyball Championship.
Coach Kittipong Pornchartyingcheep previously coached Ngọc Hoa and Thanh Thúy at Bangkok Glass club.
According to Vietnamese Volleyball, Thai expert Kittipong Pornchartyingcheep, who helped train the team, said the young Hanoi players are very promising and serious in their training.
"Although the Hanoi Tasco Auto players are still very young, I see them as athletes with great potential. When I attended training sessions, they were always very serious and followed my instructions carefully," said Kittipong Pornchartyingcheep.
Among Hanoi Tasco Auto’s volleyball team are three players called up to the Vietnamese national team: outside hitter Ánh Thảo, middle blocker Lê Thùy Linh (born 2009), and setter Vi Thị Yến Nhi (22 years old). They are regarded as key figures of the new generation in Vietnamese volleyball. These three players will join the national team to prepare for the 2025 SEA Games after the A-level championship ends.
