Vietnamese women's volleyball star receives special good news after making history

Talent does not wait for age. That is exactly what can be said about the 16-year-old girl from Vietnam's women's volleyball team who has impressively surpassed many competitors worldwide to achieve a historic milestone.

Lê Thùy Linh achieves a special feat at age 16, becoming the youngest middle blocker on the Vietnam national team

The Vietnam U21 women's volleyball team ended their campaign at the U21 World Championship with a notable 3-1 victory over U21 Dominican Republic in the 19th/20th place match, finishing 19th out of 24 participating teams.

Although not ranking high, the young players’ performance left many positive marks, especially middle blocker Lê Thùy Linh, who was considered one of the team’s most outstanding players in this tournament.

While early expectations were placed on well-known hitters like outside hitter Phạm Quỳnh Hương and opposite hitter Ánh Thảo, it was Lê Thùy Linh, the middle blocker born in 2009, who created a remarkable highlight.
