The Thailand U16 women's volleyball team lost 1-3 to the Philippines at the 2025 Asian Championship in Jordan, finishing in 6th place and missing the opportunity to participate in the 2026 U17 Women's World Championship in Chile.
The 2nd Asian U16 Women's Volleyball Championship was held from November 1 to 8, 2025, at Prince Hamza Arena (Amman, Jordan). This event served as the qualification tournament for the 2026 U17 Women's Volleyball World Championship in Chile.
The Thailand U16 women's volleyball team (in red) was defeated 1-3 by the Philippines.
On November 8, 2025, the Thailand U16 team played the 5th place match against the Philippines. The winner of this match would secure a place in the 2026 U17 World Championship.
The Siamsport from Thailand reported: "Although the two teams met in round two with Thailand winning a thrilling 3-2, in the 5th place match, the Philippines performed better, beating Thailand 3-1 with set scores of 23-25, 20-25, 25-19, and 22-25. Consequently, Thailand finished 6th overall and unfortunately did not qualify for the 2026 U17 World Championship."
