Tran Thi Thanh Thuy played with determination but could not help Gunma Green Wings win against Hisamitsu Springs in the match held this noon (November 9) at the Japan National Volleyball League.
Gunma Green Wings lost to Hisamitsu Springs after an intense match that lasted 5 sets (22-25, 25-23, 25-18, 22-25, 21-23). In the first set, Gunma started off slowly, allowing the opponent to pull ahead 17-24 and ultimately losing 22-25. In the second set, Thanh Thuy and her teammates played more focused, balanced the game, and tied the score at 1-1.
The third set witnessed Gunma’s explosive performance as they dominated the opponent to take a 2-1 lead. The fourth set was extremely competitive, with both teams fighting for every point, but Gunma failed to finish off their opponent, forcing the match into a decisive set.
In the fifth set, the competition remained tight until the very last point, with efforts from Rozanski on Gunma’s side, but the overall win still went to Hisamitsu Springs.
