The number one volleyball team in Southeast Asia, which previously defeated the Vietnamese team, has finalized its strongest lineup for the 2025 SEA Games.

The Indonesian men's volleyball team has officially finalized the list of 14 athletes to participate in the 2025 SEA Games in Thailand.

This team is regarded by the Indonesian Volleyball Federation as stable and deep, with the goal of defending the gold medal they have held for the last three consecutive SEA Games.

The roster includes outside hitters Boy Arnes Arabi, Fahri Septian Putratama, Jordan Michael Immanuel Susanto, and Agil Angga Anggara; two setters Rama Fazza Fauzan and Rivan Nurmulki; middle blockers Hendra Kurniawan, Tedy Oka Syahputra, Daffa Naufal Mauluddani, and Kristoforus Sina; two opposite hitters Jasen Nataniel Kilanta and Alfin Daniel Pratama; and finally the libero pair Prasojo and Fahreza Rakha Abhinaya.

The Indonesian men's volleyball team has officially finalized the list of 14 athletes to participate in SEA Games 33 in Thailand.

Among them, notably, are two hitters, Rivan Nurmulki and Agil Angga Anggara, who recently competed in the 2025 National Volleyball Championship held in Ninh Binh, Vietnam. Rivan represents the The Cong Tan Cang team, while Agil Angga Anggara is part of the Da Nang team.

The Indonesian men's volleyball team is currently the number one powerhouse in Southeast Asia. In the last three SEA Games, from SEA Games 30 in the Philippines in 2019, SEA Games 31 in Vietnam in 2022, to the most recent SEA Games 32 in Cambodia, Indonesia has won the gold medal each time.

In the final of SEA Games 31, the Indonesian men's volleyball team triumphed over the host nation Vietnam to claim the championship, confirming their status as Southeast Asia’s top team.

According to the draw for the men's indoor volleyball event at SEA Games 33, Indonesia is placed in Group B along with Cambodia, the Philippines, and Myanmar. Group A includes Thailand (the host), Vietnam, Singapore, and Laos. With this draw, Indonesia’s group stage journey is expected to be relatively straightforward.

Once again, the random draw has set up a significant encounter between reigning champions Indonesia and runners-up Cambodia. At SEA Games 32, Indonesia defeated Vietnam 3-0, while Cambodia beat Thailand 3-2 in the semifinals. In the final, Indonesia overcame Cambodia 3-0 to win the gold medal.

At the 2025 SEA V.League, the Indonesian men's volleyball team will face Vietnam twice more. In the first leg, Indonesia defeated Vietnam 3-2 to take second place, and in the second leg, Indonesia beat Vietnam 3-1 to win the championship.
