Recently, the list of 14 Vietnamese women volleyball players for SEA Games 33 in Thailand was announced under the guidance of coach Nguyễn Tuấn Kiệt and his assistants. Notably, setter Bích Tuyền – who contributed greatly over the past two years, especially in the second leg championship of SEA V.League 2025 – will not participate and is replaced by Đặng Thị Kim Thanh, who almost retired but has made a remarkable comeback.
The main spikers include Trần Thị Thanh Thuý, Nguyễn Thị Uyên, Vi Thị Như Quỳnh, and Bùi Thị Ánh Thảo, combining experience and youth; the opposite hitters are Nguyễn Thị Trinh, Lê Thanh Thuý, Trần Thị Bích Thuỷ, and Lưu Thị Huệ.
