Thailand’s Matichon newspaper recently made predictions about Vietnam’s women’s volleyball team at the 2025 SEA Games. The paper also stated that the primary goal for Thailand’s women’s volleyball team is to win the gold medal at this Southeast Asian Games event in 2025.

"Under the guidance of Coach Kiattipong Rachatakeangkrai, the only objective for Thailand’s women’s volleyball team is to claim the 17th SEA Games gold medal and defend their championship for the 15th consecutive time," the Matichon wrote.

"The final on December 15 at 5:00 PM at Huamark Indoor Stadium will most likely be a contest between Thailand’s and Vietnam’s women’s volleyball teams," the Matichon added.
