Middle blocker Lưu Thị Huệ recently opened up about her past injury and her determination to compete atthe 2025 SEA Games.
Middle blocker Lưu Thị Huệ is one of the prominent faces in Vietnamese women's volleyball today, recalled to the national team to prepare for the 2025 SEA Games. Born in 1999 in Hà Nam, she has an ideal height of 1.85m, a 3m approach jump, and a 2.80m block jump, which makes her one of the finest middle blockers in the history of Vietnamese women's volleyball. Volleybox ranked her in the top 10, and in 2024 she was ranked third after Nguyễn Thị Trinh and Lê Thanh Thúy.
Lưu Thị Huệ made a strong return after her injury in 2023. Recently, she talked about the career setback with Vietnamese Volleyball: "The time during my injury, even now when I think back, I still feel very haunted and scared. I tried hard with therapy and rehabilitation, and fortunately, I managed to overcome myself and that fear."
