Vietnamese volleyball players have been consistently bringing good news from late 2025 to early 2026.
The two leading stars of Vietnamese men's volleyball - Nguyễn Ngọc Thuân and Trần Duy Tuyến have been sharing joyful updates with fans this morning on January 28th.
Not only shining on the court, Ngọc Thuân and Duy Tuyến also made a strong impression at their engagement ceremony attended by many relatives and friends. It is known that the fiancée of the opposite hitter born in 1999 is Yến Nhi, from Quảng Ngãi. The long distance could not separate the beautiful love between this talented couple.
As for Duy Tuyến, he is about to start a new life with his colleague from the Thông tin - Đông Bắc team: Trần Thị Mỹ Hằng. Both wore their uniforms looking perfectly matched, receiving praise and best wishes from fans.
Nguyễn Ngọc Thuân (26 years old) and Trần Duy Tuyến (24 years old), currently part of the Biên Phòng team, have been indispensable figures in Vietnamese men's volleyball over recent years. Representing the national team, Ngọc Thuân and Duy Tuyến won the bronze medal at SEA Games 32 and placed fourth at SEA Games 33 in Thailand last year; they also competed in the SEA V.League and AVC Nations Cup.
Ngọc Thuân is currently the best opposite hitter in Vietnamese men's volleyball, known for his impressive jump and powerful spikes. Over the past year, the former Thái Bình native has continuously improved his playing style, diversifying his attacking techniques.
Meanwhile, Duy Tuyến is the most versatile middle blocker in the country, excelling in blocking, reading the game, and scoring points impressively. Some fans believe that this Biên Phòng player’s talent rivals that of the legendary former middle blocker Nguyễn Hoàng Thương.
These two are just among several Vietnamese volleyball players who settled down at the end of 2025 and early 2026. Previously, female players Nguyễn Thị Trinh, Phạm Thị Hiền, and Trần Nguyễn Quí Uyên all got married, while Phạm Thị Nguyệt Anh accepted a marriage proposal from former athletics athlete Quách Công Lịch.
