Trần Thị Thanh Thúy is leaving a significant mark in the Gunma Green Wings jersey (Japan).
Undoubtedly, Trần Thị Thanh Thúy is the most successful Vietnamese volleyball player abroad, having played for top teams from leading volleyball countries: Bangkok Glass (Thailand); Attack Line (Chinese Taipei); Denso Airybees, PFU BlueCats, Gunma Green Wings (Japan); Kuzeyboru Spor Kulubu (Turkey); and Gresik Petrokimia Pupuk (Indonesia).
Wherever she goes, Thanh Thúy consistently impresses with her talent and excellent adaptability. Her friendly personality and good English skills help "4T" quickly adjust and become beloved by teammates.
The 2025-2026 season sees the captain of the Vietnamese women's volleyball team return to peak form in Japan with Gunma Green Wings. After a serious knee injury limited her performance in Turkey and Indonesia, the 1997-born spiker has silenced doubts, shining brilliantly alongside Olivia Rozanski and Nasya Dimitrova, helping Gunma secure a spot in this year’s SV.League top 8.
The talent and synergy of this trio are propelling Gunma Green Wings to new heights. Recently, Thanh Thúy took on the role of photographer for Rozanski and teammates, and the photo was posted on the team’s official Instagram with the caption:"Photo by T.T"(T.T stands for Thanh Thúy).
The Polish spiker showed great delight, commenting:"TT photographer" (photographer Thanh Thúy), along with a smiling face emoji, receiving nearly 100 likes.
Previously, Dimitrova also praised the Vietnamese main attacker with kind words: "I’m very happy to be teammates once again with this energetic, strong-willed girl TT." This is the second time Thanh Thúy and Dimitrova have played together, following a brief period of "4T" at Kuzeyboru.
When mental comfort reaches its peak, Thanh Thúy plays freely and confidently, once again proving herself in the SV.League — Asia’s top club competition. The MVP award at the 2026 All Star Game clearly demonstrates the Vietnamese captain’s class.
