This young star has immense potential and is expected to be the leading force in the attack of Vietnam's women's volleyball team in the future.
Recently, the top young female volleyball star in Vietnam - Pham Quynh Huong posted a series of photos celebrating her 18th birthday on her personal Facebook page, receiving many compliments from family and colleagues.
Already highly regarded for her beauty, the latest photo set reveals Quynh Huong’s maturity and remarkable growth. Although it was posted just over an hour ago, the post by the volleyball "dinosaur" from Thong Tin - Dong Bac has garnered impressive interactions.
"Happy Birthday to you.", Quynh Huong received this wish from senior player Nguyen Thi Phuong.
"Just get married already.", a cheerful wish from teammate of Thong Tin - Dong Bac and U21 Vietnam, Ngo Thi Bich Hue.
"Oh my gosh, you’re so beautiful, Huong! Wishing you a very happy birthday.", commented one user.
Born in 2008, Pham Quynh Huong is a highly promising young talent in Vietnam’s women’s volleyball. She plays as an outside hitter, standing 1.87 meters tall, known for her versatile and intelligent attacks and solid serve reception skills. This teenage star shares certain similarities with Tran Thi Thanh Thuy - the current leader of the national team.
Quynh Huong gained widespread attention in youth tournaments and village festivals in previous years, eventually earning the chance to shine in the Thong Tin - Dong Bac first team at the Hoa Lu - Binh Dien Cup and the first phase of the 2024 National Volleyball Championship.
Although she has yet to make a significant mark in Vietnam’s top professional volleyball league, Quynh Huong still has plenty of time to improve and develop. At the youth level, the 2008-born attacker is truly a "dinosaur," playing a major role in helping Thong Tin’s youth team complete a triple crown in the 2025 season.
She was also a key player for Vietnam U21 at the historic U21 World Championship in Indonesia last year. Unfortunately, Quynh Huong and her teammates’ journey ended prematurely due to a sanction imposed by the FIVB (International Volleyball Federation).
