Hà Nội Tasco Auto kicks off the 2026 season with a valuable championship title

The new team in the 2026 National Women's Volleyball Championship is anticipated to create an upset thanks to significant reinforcements in their lineup.

Hà Nội Tasco Auto women's volleyball team claimed the championship at the Đống Cao Village Volleyball Festival (Bắc Ninh) by defeating the host IMP Bắc Ninh on the afternoon of February 24th.

The final featured a much-anticipated showdown between stars: Vi Thị Yến Nhi, Lê Thanh Thúy, Nguyễn Khánh Đang from Hà Nội and Đinh Thị Vân, Cà Thị Tư, Ngọ Thu Hoài representing Bắc Ninh. Both sides delivered impressive moments with exciting, high-quality offensive exchanges.

Nevertheless, Hà Nội Tasco Auto, with a stronger and more balanced squad, emerged as the victorious team. Individually rookie Khánh Đang also earned the Best Libero award of the tournament.

Meanwhile, in the third-place match, Thái Nguyên overcame Hải Phòng to secure the bronze medal.

Winning the championship at the Đống Cao Village Festival early in the new spring holds great significance for Hà Nội Tasco Auto. It not only boosts the capital team’s morale ahead of official competitions but also serves as a crucial opportunity to build cohesion and harmony among players—an essential factor for a club with many newcomers like Hà Nội.

There have been positive signs in Hà Nội Tasco Auto’s performances during these matches. The most noticeable improvement is in defense and first-step play, thanks to the presence of Vietnam’s current best libero, Nguyễn Khánh Đang, and the attacking tactics have become more varied.

Hà Nội Tasco Auto is one of the most exciting teams to watch this season.
