Recently, libero Lưu Thị Ly Ly posted her latest photos on her personal page, receiving much praise from fans, friends, and colleagues for her youthful, beautiful look, comparable to pageant queens or models.

In Vietnamese women's volleyball, there aren't many liberos as distinctive as Lưu Thị Ly Ly. Born in 1998, the girl from former Hà Nam is currently regarded as the top defensive specialist of the Information Arms Club. Playing as a libero, Ly Ly stands at 1m69, among the tallest liberos in the history of Vietnamese women's volleyball.

2025 was a quite successful competitive year for Ly Ly. She delivered extremely impressive performances at the Hoa Lư Bình Điền Cup, the Hùng Vương Cup, as well as at the National Championship.

With her quiet contributions, Ly Ly is considered one of the key factors helping the Information Arms Club gradually revive after three consecutive declining seasons. Personally, Ly Ly also received the high honor of being promoted from Senior Lieutenant to Captain as a professional military personnel. This is a mark recognizing her significant dedication and contributions to the overall achievements of the military women's volleyball team.

Ly Ly began to emerge as a phenomenon, a top defensive specialist among the young liberos of Vietnamese women's volleyball since 2016. At that time, the young girl from former Hà Nam continuously appeared in tournaments such as the 2016 Thailand Youth Cup, the 2016 Southeast Asian Youth Championship, and the 2016 U19 Championship.

In 2017, Ly Ly also performed excellently, achieving many outstanding results including a bronze medal at the U23 Asian Championship and a runner-up finish in the National Championship.

What chance brought this 1m69-tall "defensive expert" to volleyball? Ly Ly shared that since childhood she watched her father play volleyball, and later her brother was also recruited into the military volleyball team. Her love for volleyball was ignited from then. And once, while watching TV, Ly Ly's parents saw the Information Club recruiting athletes, so they registered her for the tryout, and this 1m69 libero was immediately selected.

That is the story from years past. Now she is a Ly Ly both familiar and new, a more mature, more complete Ly Ly, reaching her peak in her career.

With her impressive performances in 2025, Ly Ly silenced all criticism and doubts about her talent. The return of Coach Phạm Văn Long to the helm of the Information Arms Club helped the 9X libero play with confidence and fully utilize her qualities.

In this year of 2026, Ly Ly is actively preparing with her teammates at Information Arms Club for important upcoming tournaments. Based on her displays last year, she undoubtedly remains the team's number one libero this season. At 27, Ly Ly is still filled with the desire to achieve new successes in her career.
