Vietnam's all-star women's volleyball team secures 3rd place in the first preparatory tournament of 2026.

Coach Tuan Kiet and his squad have taken 3rd position in the initial "tune-up" event of the year 2026.

After an unfortunate loss to Vietinbank in a pre-season friendly, Hanoi Tasco Auto Club then lost to Binh Chủng Thông Tin (BCTT) Binh Đoàn 19 at the Quan Do Village volleyball festival (Bac Ninh).

However, Coach Tuan Kiet's players also secured 2-1 victories over the Hai Phong women's team and a 2-0 win against Long Son Cement to ultimately claim 3rd place overall at the Quan Do Village festival.

This is a trial and testing tournament, so the results do not reveal much. Hanoi Tasco Auto Club also did not field its strongest lineup, as their primary outside hitter, Vi Thi Nhu Quynh, could not participate in these initial friendlies due to her playing contract with Medan Falcons Club in the Indonesian National League.

Hanoi Tasco Auto Women's Volleyball Club is a newcomer to the 2026 National Championship. After promotion, the capital's women's volleyball team has significantly strengthened its roster. They signed Coach Tuan Kiet and recruited three national team players: outside hitter Nhu Quynh, middle blocker Le Thanh Thuy, and libero Khanh Dang.

Additionally, Hanoi Tasco Auto Club possesses many talented young players such as outside hitter Anh Thao (born 2009), middle blocker Le Thuy Linh, opposite hitter Pham Thuy Linh, and setter Vi Thi Yen Nhi.

Following the Quan Do Village festival, Hanoi Tasco Auto Club will continue to participate in the Kim Thieu Village volleyball festival (Bac Ninh). Afterwards, they will join the Hoa Lu Binh Dien Cup alongside teams like VTV Binh Dien Long An, LPBank Ninh Bình, Vietinbank, Long Son Cement Thanh Hoa, and BCTT Binh Doan 19. After this tournament, Hanoi Tasco Auto Club will compete in Stage 1 of the 2026 National Volleyball Championship.

Coach Tuan Kiet stated that his and his players' goal is to finish within the top 3 of the 2026 National Volleyball Championship.
