Tran Thi Thanh Thuy maintains her steady form in the Japanese National Volleyball League, consistently achieving notable accomplishments.
In the latest match, although Gunma Green Wings suffered a 1-3 defeat against NEC Red Rockets, Thanh Thuy still performed well, scoring 22 points.
As of the most recent update, Thanh Thuy has scored a total of 479 points for Gunma Green Wings, currently ranking 13th on the list of top scorers in the Japanese National League.

Thanh Thuy sustains a high and stable level of performance at Gunma Green Wings, placing within the top 15 scorers of the Japanese National League.

Thanh Thuy has surpassed the Japanese national team's leading spiker, Sato Yoshino, on the list of top scorers in this season's Japanese National League.
On the ranking of top scorers, Thanh Thuy has even outperformed the Japanese national team's primary spiker, Sato Yoshino, who is ranked 15th with a total of 474 points after 32 appearances for NEC Red Rockets this league season.
Sato Yoshino was a leading scorer for the Japanese women's volleyball team at the 2025 Women's World Volleyball Championship. She scored a total of 100 points, being one of the two highest scorers for Japan alongside spiker Wada (also 100 points).
Notably, Sato Yoshino ranked 6th on the list of top scorers at the 2025 Women's World Volleyball Championship.
Thanh Thuy is the only Asian player, not a native (Japanese) athlete, featured in the top 15 scorers of the league.
Among the players who have scored more points than Thanh Thuy are two other Asian stars, but both are Japanese and have played three more matches than Thanh Thy (34 compared to her 31 matches). They are spikers Osanai Miwako (539 points) and Shigihara Hinata (482 points).
With impressive performances over many months, Thanh Thuy recently received praise from Japanese media.
"With extensive experience and ideal height, Thanh Thuy has delivered powerful spikes, consistently scoring points for Gunma Green Wings. Due to her stable and effective play, Thanh Thuy was honored to be selected for the All-Star match roster, gathering the top stars of the Japanese National Volleyball League.
