The foreign star misses the first stage of the 2026 National Volleyball Championship.

This attacker is widely admired by Vietnamese volleyball fans due to her exceptional skill and fiery competitive spirit.

The Bulgarian foreign player - Miroslava Paskova will not be able to participate in Stage 1 of the 2026 National Volleyball Championship held in Dong Anh, Hanoi in April.

Accordingly, LPB Ninh Binh - the club that hired Paskova last season - contacted the 1996-born main attacker hoping to bring this outstanding hitter back to the "Ancient Capital". However, due to being busy competing in the USA, Paskova could not arrange her schedule to return wearing the LPB Ninh Binh jersey.

Miroslava Paskova, 30 years old, plays as a main attacker with a height of 1.80m, a jump reach of 3.05m, a block reach of 2.94m, and is right-handed. In her career, she played for clubs in her home country Bulgaria before starting her overseas journey in Turkey with Mert Grup Sigorta. Paskova later moved to Kuzeyboru, Goztepe (Turkey); Swietelsky-Bekescsabai (Hungary), AEK Athens (Greece), LPB Ninh Binh, and currently LOVB Atlanta (USA).

This hitter is a familiar face for the Bulgarian national team, having been captain and a top star for the European representative in competitions like VNL or the World Championship, etc.

Paskova wore the LPB Ninh Binh jersey in both stages of the 2025 National Championship season. Her intelligent, all-around playing style and fiery competitive spirit, being a solid pillar for her teammates, helped her gain the affection of many Vietnamese volleyball fans.

Especially in Stage 2 - when Nguyen Thi Bich Tuyen was not playing, Paskova played a crucial role helping the Ancient Capital team reach the final of the tournament and only losing to VTV Binh Dien Long An. Personally, the Bulgarian attacker also received the award for Best Attacker of the tournament.

LPB Ninh Binh will continue searching for foreign players to serve their ambitions this season. Continuing without Bich Tuyen and no longer having the services of libero Nguyen Thi Kim Lien and opposite Le Thanh Thuy, the team has also made quality additions: national team player Nguyen Thi Uyen, setter Nguyen Thi Thuy, or opposite Nguyen Thi Thanh Mai, etc.
