Volleyball star Kim Hue and her team receive over 100 million in prize money upon winning the village tournament.

Ninh Binh Volleyball Club, under coach Ngoc Hoa, earned over 100 million in prize money after clinching the championship at the Yen Phu village volleyball tournament in 2026.

LPBank Ninh Binh claimed the championship of the Yen Phu village volleyball tournament 2026 by defeating VTV Binh Dien Long An 2-0 (25-21, 25-23) in the final match on March 6. The team, guided by coach and former volleyball star Kim Hue, displayed composure and effectiveness throughout both sets, earning a deserved victory.

With this title, LPBank Ninh Binh received a prize of 115 million dong, excluding individual awards from the tournament. Despite recent roster changes, the team maintained stable performance to secure the championship.

The Yen Phu village volleyball tournament 2026 was held vibrantly on March 6 in Van Mon commune, Bac Ninh province, attracting many strong women's volleyball teams from Vietnam. Six participating teams included VTV Binh Dien Long An, LPBank Ninh Binh, Information Corps – Unit 19, Duc Giang Chemical Lao Cai, Hanoi Tasco Auto, and Geleximco Hung Yen. Teams were divided into two groups for round-robin matches before selecting outstanding representatives for the semifinals.

In the semifinals, VTV Binh Dien Long An defeated Duc Giang Chemical Lao Cai to advance to the final. Meanwhile, LPBank Ninh Binh overcame Hanoi Tasco Auto to reach the championship match. The two teams then delivered a notable showdown, drawing a large crowd of fans to the venue.

The tournament was part of the spring festival activities in Yen Phu village and took place on the 18th day of the lunar new year. Beyond its cultural significance, the event became an exciting arena featuring national team players and top stars of Vietnamese women's volleyball, creating a lively atmosphere right at the village grounds.
