Vietnamese volleyball player Tran Thi Bich Thuy scored the second-highest points for her team but still suffered a tenth consecutive defeat alongside her Japanese club.

Tran Thi Bich Thuy continued to deliver a fairly positive performance wearing the Okayama Seagulls jersey, yet the efforts of the Vietnamese volleyball player were insufficient to help her team avoid defeat against Victorina Himeji in the Japanese National Volleyball Championship (SV.League). This 0-3 loss also marked Okayama Seagulls' tenth consecutive defeat in this season.

Entering the match determined to end their disappointing streak, Okayama Seagulls started cautiously. However, Victorina Himeji quickly demonstrated superiority by establishing a 4-point gap early in the opening set. Although the home team managed to reduce the deficit to just 1 point at times, Himeji's stability in both offense and defense allowed them to maintain their advantage. In the final stages, the visiting team remained solid to close the first set with a 25-21 victory.

In the second set, the game became more balanced initially. Bich Thuy and her teammates fought hard and kept the score close against Victorina Himeji. However, when the score was 10-10, a turning point emerged. Himeji unexpectedly accelerated strongly, scoring 5 consecutive points to create a safe lead. With an experienced lineup, especially the effectiveness of Camilla Mingardi on offense, Victorina Himeji easily controlled the game and secured a 25-18 win, raising the match score to 2-0.

Tran Thi Bich Thuy continued to deliver a fairly positive performance wearing the Okayama Seagulls jersey.

Entering the third set under pressure to win to keep hope alive, Okayama Seagulls still could not improve their situation. The team's offense appeared lacking sharpness against Victorina Himeji's solid defensive system and cohesion. The visiting team quickly built a lead of 4 to 6 points and maintained that advantage for most of the set. Despite great effort, Seagulls could not reverse the situation and accepted a 19-25 defeat, resulting in a 0-3 overall loss (21-25, 18-25, 19-25).

In this match, volleyball player Tran Thi Bich Thuy still left a personal mark by scoring 9 points, including 8 attack points and 1 block point, achieving an efficiency rate of 40%. This performance made her the second-highest scorer for Okayama Seagulls, only behind main attacker Yuzu Nakamoto with 13 points.

Nevertheless, the performance of Bich Thuy and her teammates was still insufficient to help Okayama Seagulls escape their poor streak. The defeat against Victorina Himeji extended this team's losing streak to 10 in the SV.League this season, thereby continuing to sink deep in the bottom group. Given the current situation, Seagulls will require considerable effort if they wish to improve their position in the remainder of the season.
