The high performance of main attackers Trần Thị Thanh Thúy (VTV Bình Điền Long An), Vi Thị Như Quỳnh (Hà Nội Tasco Auto), secondary attacker Bích Thủy (HCĐG Lào Cai), and libero Khánh Đang (Hà Nội Tasco Auto) is good news for coach Tuấn Kiệt as he prepares to call up the national women's volleyball team roster for the AVC Cup 2026.

VTV Bình Điền Long An did not perform exceptionally well in phase 1 of the 2026 National Championship, but they officially secured a spot in the Hùng Vương Cup after a 3-1 victory over Binh Chủng Thông Tin Binh Đoàn 19, largely thanks to Trần Thị Thanh Thúy who scored 21 points.

The hitter born in 1997 had no rest period after finishing her stint with club Gunma Green Wings in the Japanese National Championship. She returned to Vietnam and immediately played for VTV Bình Điền Long An.

With her caliber, Thanh Thúy helped Long An secure crucial victories over Ninh Bình and Binh Chủng Thông Tin Binh Đoàn 19 to earn the Hùng Vương Cup ticket.

Như Quỳnh is the domestic player who scored the most points in phase 1 of the 2026 National Championship, and she is also among the top scorers of the tournament up to this point. The hitter from Nghệ An province has scored a total of 144 points after 7 matches for Hà Nội Tasco Auto, contributing significantly to her team's perfect record. Như Quỳnh's form is highly impressive despite her height of only 1.75m.

On April 10, Bích Thủy, who had just flown back from Japan, immediately played for Hóa Chất Đức Giang (HCĐG) Lào Cai in the match against LPB Ninh Bình. Without any rest, she managed to score 25 points, playing a decisive role in HCĐG Lào Cai's 3-0 victory.

From then until April 17, still with Bích Thủy's immense contribution, the Ninh Bình women's team won three more matches in the 2026 National Volleyball Championship, including memorable victories over VTV Bình Điền Long An (3-2) and Binh Chủng Thông Tin (3-2).
