In just over a year, she has ascended to a new level in Vietnamese women's volleyball and will undoubtedly progress further in her professional journey.
Duc Giang Lao Cai Chemicals recently secured the runner-up position in the 2026 Hung Vuong Cup. Although they could not win the championship, the team coached by Nguyen Huu Ha essentially conceded defeat due to the outstanding performances of foreign player Vanjak and libero Khanh Dang from Hanoi Tasco Auto.
This match once again affirmed Bich Thuy's status as the top auxiliary attacker in current Vietnamese women's volleyball. After over a year of "training" in the Korean national league (with GS Caltex) and the Japanese national league (with Okayama Seagulls), Bich Thuy has elevated her career to new heights.

Bich Thuy is the foremost auxiliary attacker in Vietnamese women's volleyball today.
The 1.84m tall auxiliary attacker scored 13 points against Hanoi Tasco Auto, including 4 blocks. She was the third highest scorer in the Hung Vuong Cup final, behind only the two main attackers Vanjak (20 points) and Nhu Quynh (16) from Hanoi Tasco Auto.
Bich Thuy was also the best blocker in the match alongside Nhu Quynh from Hanoi Tasco Auto (both had 4 blocks). Earlier, Bich Thuy played a crucial role, scoring 16 points to help HCĐG Lao Cai defeat VTV Binh Dien Long An 3-1 in the Hung Vuong Cup semifinal.
With the techniques and all the knowledge gained after a highly successful season in Japan, Bich Thuy plays increasingly intelligently, competes with less exertion, and is extremely unpredictable.
She is the soul that helped Duc Giang Lao Cai Chemicals overcome both of Vietnam's most traditional women's volleyball teams, Information Corps Unit 19 and VTV Binh Dien Long An, to rank second after phase 1 of the 2026 national championship. Personally, Bich Thuy recorded a total of 22 blocking points, making her the best blocker in phase 1 of the 2026 national championship.

The rare smile of auxiliary attacker Bich Thuy
On April 10th, Bich Thuy, having just flown back from Japan, immediately played for Duc Giang Lao Cai Chemicals (HCĐG) Lao Cai in the match against LPB Ninh Binh. Without any rest, she still managed to score 25 points, playing a decisive role in HCĐG Lao Cai's 3-0 victory.
From then until April 17th, still with Bich Thuy's significant contributions, the Ninh Binh women's team won three more matches in the 2026 national championship, including memorable victories over VTV Binh Dien Long An (3-2) and Information Corps (3-2).
The sweet result was the second-place ranking and a ticket to the 2026 Hung Vuong Cup. It must be said that without Bich Thuy, HCĐG Lao Cai could not have achieved its current position and might not have secured the Hung Vuong Cup ticket.
In phase 1 of the 2026 national championship, HCĐG Lao Cai still did not have the services of their top main attacker Tran Tu Linh. This further highlighted Bich Thuy's impact.
Although not every match yielded high points, even when unable to directly contribute many points for her team, Bich Thuy still played a major role in the success of the chemical industry's women's volleyball team.
The 3-2 victory over Information Corps is a typical example. In this match, Bich Thuy was closely marked by opponents, with at least two Information Corps players always blocking her attack direction. Often, the military women's volleyball team set up a "triple block" to stop Bich Thuy. However, precisely because Bich Thuy "absorbed the blocks," her teammates had many easy scoring opportunities to ultimately win 3-2.
The roster of HCĐG Lao Cai is not rated as highly as Hanoi Tasco Auto, VTV Binh Dien Long An, or Information Corps Unit 19. But with Bich Thuy, they created a major surprise in phase 1 of the 2026 national championship.
The star who scored 9 points against Poland's national team (world rank 3), 8 points against China's national team (world rank 6), 17 points against South Korea's national team (ASIAD 2023), and 15 points against Thailand's national team (SEA Games 2025 women's volleyball final) is simply affirming the caliber of a top-tier auxiliary attacker in the history of Vietnamese women's volleyball and is undoubtedly Vietnam's number one auxiliary attacker at present.
